WAN EVENTS

Created by Amobe Mevegue, a famous African journalist & producer, the wan show is an annual event started in 2020.

In partnership with UNESCO & the African Union, this event has been made to celebrate every year the International Africa Day on may 25th.

Arts, culture, education, and diversity are at the heart of WAN platform initiative

THE WAN SHOW

Since the beginning, the WAN SHOW itself has gathered more than 250 international artists, institutional organizations, and opinion leaders from Omar Sy, Naomi Campbell, Youssou Ndour, or Angelique Kidjo to Chris Martin from the band Coldplay or Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.
Combining entertainment, culture and social actions within Africa, its diaspora and Africa’s lovers, WAN is today an international brand working together with international organizations. To stick to the new consumption habits, the wan show events are made up of a 2.0 concert and round tables broadcasted live on digital platforms and tv channels. The recorded contents also become a tv show distributed free of charge to all the willing networks and platforms. Thanks to a strong media coverage, a reputable network and partnerships (from RFI, TV5 to France 24) wan show events have been broadcasted throughout the world and international channels in Africa.
The brand WAN's goal is to be the symbol of a real "savoir-faire" to gather people and prestigious organizations around arts, culture, education, technology and diversity..
